The Sun, Whales & Waves - Seafront Apartment

We loved everything! So much care is taken by the owner to make every little detail special and welcoming. It feels like a home, not a holiday rental. Suna, the owner, takes a sincere interest in her guests and goes out of her way to ensure everything you need, and more, is there. We enjoyed every minute, and of course, the view is beautiful, whether it is sunny or rainy! Most grateful for this stay.

Absolutely everything! Suna's apartment is top drawer. She has thought of everything. Very comfortable beds, views to die for from every room.

Die Wohnung ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand und in wunderbarer Lage. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr aufmerksam und immer sofort zu erreichen. Bei unserer (sehr späten) Ankunft haben wir einen Snack und eine Flasche Wein in der Wohnung vorgefunden. Die Küche war hervorragend ausgestattet.

EVERYTHING. Location couldn’t be better. Suna the owner was lovely and had left lots of goodies for us - milk, wine, cheese, crackers, home made biscuits, rusks. All round window was stunning and we spotted whales and dolphins while sitting in the lounge.

A small problem with getting into the apartment but Suna sorted it and brought us home made bread as an apology. Would be good to get the key safe number with the directions.

Excellent location and well stocked kitchen with all facilities available such as washing machine ,dryer and dish washer. Spectacular views and central placement for shops and restaurants. Owner and agent in regular contact.

The double beds were small (queen size) difficult to block out morning light . Very tight parking area to access garage parking space, unsuitable for large car. Wi-Fi didn’t work in 2 bedrooms

Sehr gute Lage mit Blick auf das Meer

We had the most wonderful stay in Hermanus at The Sun, Whales and Waves Apartment. The accommodation was absolutely magnificent, and we enjoyed sitting in the lounge and relaxing while watching the beautiful sea views. We saw whales and dolphins from the comfort of home. Our hostess spoiled us with so many extras, chocolates, cookies, cheese and wine, and small things throughout the apartment that really makes a huge difference. A truly 10/10 experience and accommodation. Great restaurants and coffee shops a short walk just up the road. We will definitely be back.
