master accommodation suite 11 sea view

Very spacious room with direct views of the rides on the seafront. Really comfortatable bed, modern bathroom, comfortable seating in the lounge area of the room. Lovely to have tea and coffee-making facilities too.

Both the checking in and out processes were a bit haphazard; I was instructed to queue up with the diners in the company's fish and chip restaurant below in order to check in. They were extremely busy (which is of course a great sign!); subsequently I queued for quite some time in the uncomfortable heat before reaching the service desk. The person who served me was very pleasant, but obviously rushed off their feet... after providing our details, they grabbed the keys, asked me to follow them - I had to literally run after them as they dashed out the restaurant and around the corner to the hotel's back entrance! Upon leaving the room on check-out, we could not work out where/who to drop the keys off to. We stood outside the restaurant for a while (which was closed at the time). Fortunately a cleaner came out onto the street, and took our keys from us. We of course enjoyed our stay in spite of the above, but I feel it's worth noting.

Quite a few stairs and the wardrobe and other bedroom furniture was looking a little tired/ in need of an update

Did not have breakfast. Location perfect as wanted to be near old town Hastings but with a sea which was exactly what l got. Only thing and could not be helped is did not know. I suppose should have asked was that with this Suite there were loads of stairs and since having Cancer and Stroke last year l found the strain on me a bit exhausting

As above too many stairs which for me was a problem but in the end worth it for the view

Very good room, so much nicer than the typical chain hotel. Spacious with lovely views. A good night's sleep

Only negative was the 50+ steps. Remember everything you need when going out!
