Fabulous Morden Apartment in Helsinki

The location was great

I had notified the property before our trip advising them of a late check in because of the time of our arrival flight. They confirmed that they would meet me at the property to give me access. Before departure they sent me a message stating they couldn't meet me, but a key would be in a lock box on the door and they gave me a "code" to access the building that would expire after 10pm, knowing that my flight would not land before that time. After landing, I made several attempts to reach the property owners and they did not answer messages or phone calls. I attempted the code to get in, which did not work. I begged neighbors to allow me access to the building to go to the apartment and retrieve the key off the door. I was told by a neighbor that they weren't allowed to. It was quite embarrassing to have to bed people to allow me in to get a key. We had 3 small children with us too. Finally, after midnight, I was able to get a neighbor to let me come in. We were exhausted. This impacted our plans for the following day, because we had no sleep. I do not recommend this property due to the lack of communication on their end. Also, there is horrible mold or fungus on the bathroom floor, and the stove does not work, so we wasted more money on groceries that we could not prepare. Overall, not a good place to stay.

The apartment was clean, well arranged and well equipped. The view is great, just like in the pictures. Public transport and stores are within a few minutes.

The owner was very helpful and polite.

We were very surprised with the place. The apartment is situated on the 14th floor of skyscrapper. It is modern, well equipped and clean. If you want to park your car you will need a special time card to put it visibly in the car.

Everything was perfect and as described

Booked the place last minute since it was a short business trip. Property is close to the shopping mall and Metro station which makes commute easy. Recommended place to stay with family.
