I liked the description on booking.com but unfortunately it is misleading. This studio apartment is not beautiful or design and does not have a nice view.The hosts provide a wide range of bathroom products and have taken the time to provide info on local bars, restaurants etc which are fine if you are in your 20s. This place feels like a small student flat.The kitchen space is OK.

There is no curtain on the window, just a very cheap blind that does not block out early morning light. You need it closed completely to save being exposed by the flats opposite and in doing so you can't have the window open to let in fresh air which you desperately need as it is incredibly hot. The bed is small for 2 people and there is a dirty, stained roll out single chair taking up valuable space that is unusable. There were only 4 hangars. There is a cheap 3 drawer unit but the first drawer is stuffed with fairy lights. The hosts have tried to make this flat homely but the books, plants, grubby looking rug and blanket just make it feel cluttered when the space is seriously small for 2 people. Still, we were there for 6 nights and kind of got used to it. The lift is old style and thuds when it reaches the floor but this was fine once you're used to it. Sorry hosts for the negatives but I believe in honest reviews. You absolutely need to sort out the window covering, it's not good as it is and get rid of the filthy green chair. A better bed would also be a good idea if you want more favorable reviews.

The apartment and the surroundings are very nice; we felt very comfortable. The apartment is well-suited for two people and is equipped with all the necessary amenities.

With high temperatures outside, the apartment can get very hot. It would be great if there were a curtain to darken the apartment while keeping the windows open to ventilate.

Viehättävä ja tyylikäs hyvin varusteltu yksiö, sijainti täydellinen kaupunkiturismiin. Huoneisto ja kodinkoneet ovat erinomaisessa kunnossa, sänky on hyvä.

Great little apartment, offering everything you need for a stay in Helsinki. Would love to stay here again.
