Hermanus Beach Club Apt 186 & 208

The pictures on the website as well as the video the host send was picture perfect - but the road to the venue was unsafe and the fact that you had to drive through a informal settlement was never mentioned.

Road to the venue is through a informal settlement and the clubhouse does not offer any food, no shops close by, we felt unsafe - would have stayed until the sunday but left as early as humanly possible the very next day.

location great. Very tidy.disability access manageable. ample seating. Decor is luxury. very quiet environment, truly relaxing decor. kitchen functional. only stay at hermanus beach club if in the area. Mr D food delivery. Prefer hermanus over Club Mikanos.

The apartment needs little attention. toilet seat broken. slight mouldy smell, I think from carpets. door doesn't open from inside. the access road worrying because kids play in the road. needs a fan. THE APARTMENT STILL VALUE FOR MONEY. would definitely book again

The toilet seat in the en-suite bathroom was broken. The light switch in the one bedroom was faulty. The Beach Club should consider heating the pool during cold weather. My grandchildren wanted to swim but the water was way too cold. However, they did swim but but not for long and only one of the days that we were there.
