Apartamento Maruca

Binnen was het netjes en Ruim.

Er was een te kleine boiler om met twee personen deftig te douchen . De electriciteit valt uit als je twee kleine badkamervuurtjes opzet. Er was wel een nr.om naar te bellen om te vragen waar de electriciteitskast stond maar er kon niemand komen .de eigenaar woont ergens anders maar probeerde ons wel te helpen via telefoon. Bij aankomst konden we de locker niet vinden .het adres was op nr 13 en we moesten voor nr .12 een steile oneffen trap op om ons appartement binnen te gaan .het ligt in een hoger gelegen deel van het dorp waar weinig mensen wonen .te voet naar het dorp is steil maar mooi.de locatie is geschikt voor plantrekkers en wandelaars.

Ruime slaapkamers

Poten van de stoelen in de keuken voorzien van viltdoppen. Maakt nu veel te veel lawaai tijdens het verplaatsen. Zelf had ik de mooie sierstoelen weggehaald uit de keuken om daar de tafel te plaatsen. Weinig ruimte nu om in de keuken te zitten en aan het aanrecht te staan.

It was our second stay in La Gomera since last 3 years and our winner is Hermingua. This is the best corner of La Gomera were we have done over 700 km just in one week. Our house was situated at the west slopes of the valley and views from balcony or roof terrace was simple amazing. Kitchen had everything what you need with marrocan accents , two spacy bedrooms with comphy beds and cosy living room with TV. Bathroom was brilliant , plenty towels and the most important - hot water. Climbing from the road to the house were you have to leave a car is obvious and was no problem for us at all. At the last steps at the last corner are living lovely and always smiling people and it was very nice to having converastion with them for few times without knowing Spanish :) My advice with the carpark down the house: because the road is very narrow there is no spots close by to turn back , we had a big car and each morning we have to drive forward around 600-700 meters and return at the Spa Center were has a wide carpark. Small hassle, but this is La Gomera not Lanzarotte :) The best restaurant in town is for sure Los Telares, one of the best ones on the island beside food in the village in Las Hayas. I wish to come back to Maruca again for sure. Thank you for hosting us.

The apartment and kitchen equipment were very clean. We were pleased to find oil, herbs, spices, tea, coffee etc in the cupboard. Fantastic views across the barranca. Enjoyed listening to the frogs at dusk. Very comfortable sofa! little supermarket so close by.

only the steep climb up from the road even though it was just 10 minutes, but definitely worth the climb. Definitely felt fitter on leaving.
