Oceanview Penthouse Suite

The size of suite was nice,location decent.

1)Master bedroom patio screen is ripped on handle side. 2) 1/2 bath toilet The flapper in the tank doesn't seal, so the tank is constantly refilling, so you hear it draining and running all the time. #3 hot tub need work the inside was Falling apart and the head rest constantly falls off. #4. World class roof top pool on 27th floor. Yea, right, small, falling apart, and view sucks. I think it's one of the worst pools in Waikiki Beach. Views from Oceanview penthouse suite 2801 was great and location is good but for the money I know you can find something that is cheaper, better pool and walk right out to beach. 2nd bedroom the door trim that holds the glass in is coming apart. Glass will fall out . The small tile on the wall behind the couch just fell off the wall.

Expansive ocean view from the Sheraton South to Ko'olina on the North. We could spend hours just watching the surfers, clouds and multiple rainbows every day. Friday fireworks at the Hilton view is fantastic from either the side deck or inside the upstairs room or the kitchen. The staff at the Imperial are all excellent.

The master bath sinks smell like a sewer The Koa cabinets are cracked and rotted; sinks and faucets need replacing. The venting in the Master bath was minimal. There was no blind to the window on the deck, and we could not figure out how to close the other blinds - climb in the bathtub? The lighting in both baths were inadequate to put on makeup. The kitchen is significantly under equipped and there is No Dishwasher; the Koa wood veneer is severely cracked and needs replacing. The curtains in the kitchen - and the rods - need to be redone so they can be closed across the windows as the afternoon sun heats up the unit. The AC in the upper floor is inadequate for the afternoon. The lighting in the upper floor is lacking. We reported the issues to the management company and they stated they were doing a walk through with the owner regarding these issues but have received no update.

This Penthouse is on the top floor of the Imperial Hawaii Resort. It has a spectacular uninterrupted view over the ocean. Its is in a great location close to shops and restaurants. The owners were great, we had an issue with the internet and they sent someone out that day to fix it. Also had an issue with the aircon and someone came to fix that too.

This was marketed as an apartment with 3 beds, one of which was a sofa bed. However, on arrival, the sofa bed was only a sofa with a note from the owners "do not sleep on the sofa". Not great when you have 3 kids and are expecting to have 3 beds to sleep in! Also a little restricting as it is listed as having 2 bathrooms when it, in fact, has one full bathroom with shower plus an extra toilet.

Great view; nice facility; good location; and friendly staff.
