Un peu petit mais fonctionnel.

Location is excellent, as you are in the heart of the town of Honfleur. It is also surprisingly quiet after 10pm, because all the businesses that stay open longer are slightly further down the street. The apartment is very spacious, with very well stocked kitchen. The necessities such as tea, coffee, sugar etc. were all provided

We rentad the "Balene" apartment, and these comments only apply to it, others in the building are different. These were not downsides per se, just more like the word of caution: 1. The apartment is under the roof, which is very slanted, so the ceiling height is very uneven, and if you are above 6ft tall, some area of the apartment may not be available for you, and you will be constantly bending your neck walking through. 2. The apartment is under the roof, so in hot weather it heats a lot, and cools very slowly, even with provided fans. If you plan to stay here to escape a heat wave (many people come to the seaside for that), you are not going to find comfort. For the majority of the year, this is not an issue. Finally, if you have a lot of heavy luggage, beware: the stairs are steep and narrow, and you have to climb to the top floor

I’m giving the room 7 points because we got the ground-floor one; the other rooms might be better. Unfortunately, the ground-floor room had an unpleasant smell — a mix of sewage and mold, probably due to it being on the ground floor in an old building. At night, I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the window open because it was on the ground floor, so by morning the smell was quite bad. The fridge would switch on every half hour during the night and made a loud humming noise. Since it’s on the ground floor, we could hear everything from the room above us — even the toilet flushing and every movement. The bathroom is about 2 m², very cramped, and the towels and bed linen weren’t white, so it was hard to tell whether they were clean. When we arrived, the toilet was unfortunately dirty, which suggested it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest — that’s definitely a minus for me. On the positive side, the accommodation is in a great location, right on the pedestrian street. However, without breakfast it’s less convenient — cafés only opened at 9, and we wanted to eat at 8, but couldn’t find a place. Maybe in Honfleur it’s better to book a place with breakfast, but that option isn’t available here. The parking is about a 5-minute walk away, and fortunately we were always able to find a spot.

A localização é perfeita! O quarto é muito confortável, a anfitriã nos recebeu muito bem. A proximidade do estacionamento gratuito é muito conveniente!

O chuveiro não dá vazão a água e no primeiro banho inundei o quarto! Depois aprendemos a tomar um banho rápido e virado para a parede… enquanto isso não for corrigido acho que os hóspedes deviam ser alertados!
