Cozy beach house Jurmala II

Everything was very good, nice apartment, close to the sea. Train station not far so you can go to Rigas centre.

The walls have really poor isolation of sound so we couldn’t have such a good quality for sleep because time to time you could hear the neighbours from behind or up

The furnishings are very chic and visually appealing. The kitchen is modern. There is plenty of storage space for luggage. The proximity to the beach is brilliant and the beach is beautiful with a fantastic sunset. The residential area is very upscale and invites you to go for a walk. There is also a train station nearby with a connection to Riga.

The apartment has a problem with cleanliness. Even the first impression is spoiled by the heavily soiled windows and the dirty entrance door. The beautiful kitchen is so chic because it is black, but you can still see the fingerprints of the previous tenants. We were most disturbed by the smell from the kitchen drain. The bathroom was also only cleaned very quickly. The lid of the toilet seat had dark splashes. The toilet seat showed several hairs. There was still a contact lens stuck to the tap. The corner in the living room was full of dust. All in all, the impression quickly clouded this beautiful appearance of the apartment. There was also a lack of time in the kitchen. There are dishes in the drawer. There was a lack of simple things such as bedside lamps to make it really cozy or feel welcome. A few more large cups would also have been nice. On the other hand, there was a well-functioning tumble dryer, but this also had the disadvantage that the neighbors above us were still using the spin cycle well after midnight, which disturbed our sleep considerably, as the apartment has very thin walls and you can even hear the neighbors snoring above the apartment. The outdoor area is very carelessly designed. The gray split looks dreary. In addition, there is no clear separation from the neighbors, which caused us the surprise that a Doberman guarded our every step and constantly came too close to us. However, the owner quickly solved this problem. But we did not receive an apology for this. This made the contact very impersonal for us.

The apartment is very spacious and cozy. Big bedroom, kitchen with all the utilities, bathroom with the washing machine (relevant when staying for longer then a few days)

The house is located by the street in the crossroad, so car passing noise might bother if you want to go to bed early or sleep longer :)

The location is fantastic for the beach and a peaceful residential area. The cozy cottage is very well equipped and clean, the host is very helpful.

Only one thing to criticise is the entrance door needs frosted glass or a curtain for privacy but this is minor.

Very cosy apartment. Free parking. Peaceful location close to the beach.

Little bit too far from the center. Need a car to get to the grocery store. There was no microwave and only one kettle.
