The room was amazing. Huge! And very affordable. Decent size shower, big TV, balcony, comfortable 4 poster bed, spa, couch, remote control blinds, air-conditioning. I cannot stress enough just how incredible the view is from this apartment. You can see the cliffs/rocks of Meteora from the balcony, and can actually see one of the monasteries from the balcony. The other side of the balcony you can see the town of Kalabaka and the surrounding countryside/mountains. Just stunning (I've attached a photo from the balcony where you can see one of the monasteries in the distance on a rock). The owner gave very clear and easy to understand instructions on how to enter the property. Now, this next part might not be available if the place is fully booked out back to back, but the owner was able to give me a late check out free of charge (left the place around 3pm), and he even gave me a lift to the train station. Incredible service and very friendly guy. I'd definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone.

The water pressure was quite low, which also meant the spa takes a long time to fill. Also the church across the road had a wedding on my first day; I personally thought it was cool to see an authentic Greek wedding from my balcony, but some people might not like the noise. I don't know how often that church has weddings, but it's something to consider. Also on the Tuesday morning of my checkout the church bells were ringing at 8am. Didn't worry me as I'm up early, but will annoy someone who wants to sleep in.

Beautiful apartment, fabulous views. Well designed, everything works. Very responsive and helpful host, thank you. Spa bath was fantastic after a long day hiking round the monasteries. You can see a little bit of two monasteries from the balcony! Loved not having a key, just a code. Easy street parking, short walk to all the shops and restaurants.

The bells have to be mentioned. They are so loud. Monday, 7.30am and 7.45 and 8. Tuesday 7.30am. Wednesday no bells! Maybe it's random. But it's a very short noise and over quickly!
