La Perla Apartment 2

Apartment was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There was A/C in both rooms

Bed was uncomfortable, couch in the living room is too hard to sit on for more than 10 minutes, sleeping on it not possible. I was disappointed not being met by the owner, reviews regarding the "friendly owner" is not our experience. Not that it is unfriendly but It is a company who manage many properties. They give you an address and there is a key locker of which you get a code. You will never see the owner. There is nothing personal in the apartment. Bottle of water in the fridge, seal was broken and probably refilled with tab water. No sheets on the bed to cover you, just a duvet. But the biggest disappointment was the surroundings. The building looks run down from the outside, your view is a concrete wall full of graffiti and an open container filled with building trash. Every accommodation we slept in in the Peleponessos was so nice with nice surroundings, views, gardens, friendly people etc. This place gave us more of a feel like the Bronx in the eighties. It is on the back of a abandoned stadium on one side and a big busy road on the other side. It was the most expensive place we slept in this trip but it was not the end of our holiday we hoped for.
