A perfect stay at the historical centre of Kalamata

L’appartamento si trova in una buona posizione piena di diversi locali e negozi. Nonostante ciò, la notte è molto tranquilla e serena. Appartamento moderno e funzionale con un bellissimo balcone (almeno per quello che avevamo avuto noi). Il personale è super gentile e molto disponibile e soprattutto molto ospitale come la maggior parte dei greci. Nel complesso lo consiglio vivamente.

Andavano chiesto una seconda stanza, ma ahimè ci siamo trovati in divano letto come “seconda stanza” in sala/cucina.

Όπως και πέρυσι, όλα ήταν εξαιρετικά. Από την τοποθεσία, την καθαριότητα, τις παροχές. Μας περίμεναν επίσης αναψυκτικά και κρύο νερό στο ψυγείο, όπως επίσης και μπισκοτάκια γεμιστά και ποικιλία από καφέδες.

Όλα ήταν εξαιρετικά και φυσικά θα το προτιμήσουμε και πάλι στην επόμενη επίσκεψή μας στην Καλαμάτα.

Absolutely perfect stay. Host goes above and beyond. Location is ideal if you want to be in Old Town (and near the market). Seaside is easy to get to from here if that's what you want, but what is special about Kalamata is in this neighborhood, not the standard seaside cafes you find anywhere. The neighborhood has outstanding restaurants, the best one in Kalamata is practically right downstairs from this unit (Kokkari), brilliant bakeries and excellent coffee is a stone's throw in any direction. The unit itself is remarkably well appointed and could not be made more comfortable. Everything we needed was there for us (including killer A/C during the massive heat wave that we chose for our visit lol). Communication was perfect and immediate. This is what Airbnb is about. If you're staying in Kalamata, you do not want to stay anywhere else.

The situation of the apartment was brilliant right in the middle of the historical centre, there was also good outdoor space, to sit in the evening. Lots of good bars and restaurants close by The owner was very responsive to any queries

The apartment was spotless clean, equipped with everything one might need, close to a lot of good restaurants and to the market (on Wednesday and Saturday morning). Nikos, the owner, is helpful and kind, he answered all my questions. We had a car, so we didn’t have to walk to the beach (there are some nice beaches around - Foneas was our favourite). We really enjoyed our time here and we can call it for sure a perfect stay.

Everything was perfect for us. You have to climb some sets of stairs to get to the apartment, but this is not an issue for us.

Great apartment in centre of old town - felt like locals. Comfy beds. Small issue with bathroom was quickly fixed by helpful owner.Many great traditional eating & drinking places nearby & pleasant half an hour walk to the beach. Nice terrace. Would stay again.
