Good sized apartment. 2 bedrooms one of which was very large and could accommodate more futon style beds besides the 2 normal beds in the room. Plenty of wardrobe space. Washing machine, drying room bathroom, iron and ironing board all provided. Large lounge/dining kitchen area with TV, Settee and dining table, and patio doors leading to a small balcony. Long free standing mirror in the wardrobe which could be placed wherever you needed. Handy when others were using the bathroom and you were getting ready to go out and needed a mirror to apply make up etc. Good location for walking into the town (5 mins) and to the train station. 30 mins walk to the Buddha. 10 mins walk to the beach. Most of the temples were within walking distance if you don't mind walking otherwise local buses can get you there from the bus station in town. Tourist Information office there to help you.

More towels would have been nicer. Only one 1 large and 1 small towel provided per person. BUT the large towel wasn't even big enough to wrap around your body. An extra drying rail in the bathroom would have been helpful as there wasn't enough room to hang all your washed clothes to dry and dry your wet towels after showering in the morning all at the same time. We would shower twice a day so extra towels would have been nice as it was difficult to dry the towels from the morning showers enough to be ready for our showers in the early evening. It rained a number of days we were there so didn't have the option of drying them outside on the balcony. Bedding seemed old and rough to the touch. Not of a hotel standard. Not that comfortable to sleep in. The large bedroom at the back is directly next to the train line. It is quite noisy and runs to just after midnight and restarts at about 5am. If you are a light sleeper this WILL keep you awake as there is also a train crossing nearby so you have the alarm for the crossing sounding every time there is a train coming. Which is frequent.

Close to the station. Has a store downstairs and it was comfortable for a family of 4.

You can hear the trains so it's difficult to sleep at night.

One of the best stay during my trip in Japan! Everything is amazing here and matches my expectations. It’s a perfect choice for a family as well as friends. Also the household is so nice and understanding. Next time in Kamakura I will definitely book it again.

We were delighted with this lovely appartment. It was very spacious, easy to access, the communication with the host was very efficient. We appreciated the comfy beds, the cleanliness, the central location and the washing machine. We had wonderful time in Kamakura, one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you for everything!

Very comfortable and a nice space for a family of 4, has a full functional kitchen and open plan dining and living area. Has a washing machine and unique way of drying clothes inside the bathroom. Fresh fruit and vegetables shops next door as well as fish market. Walking distance to Kamakura Train station

One flight of stairs which was not too bad for us but for anyone with bad knees or heavy luggage it may be inconvenient.

Really easy to find and pick up the keys. So much space, particularly after coming from a small place in Tokyo previously. 2 big bedrooms was great for our small family. The kitchen was well stocked and meant we were able to cook a variety of different meals. The location is right between two train lines - some people might hate this, it's noisy during the day, but our 1-year old daughter absolutely loved it and it kept her occupied so Mum and Dad enjoyed it too! Great being directly above a food market as well - really enjoyed cooking using super fresh ingredients!

The House Rules discussed a lot about keeping things clean yet there was pretty much nothing to clean up with. Having travelled a long way we didn't have anything either so on the last day it was a bit difficult to tidy up. So leaving some cleaning supplies, a broom etc. would be really handy.
