KIKI HOTEL

Cute and homely atmosphere.

There was no faucet directly in the bathtub.

We’re a family of 4 (2 adults, one 4 year old and one baby). We stayed at Kiki hotel for 6 nights after visiting Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. We were supposed to stay 4 nights but extended our stay because the accommodation and city felt really nice after visiting the big cities. Kiki hotel is truly a hidden gem. It’s exactly as described and even better. It’s quite big for Japanese standards. The women that met us the first day was really nice. They provided coffee and olive oil which is rare in Japan (based on our experience). The kitchen was perfect for us to cook some meals. It was really calm (no noise around). The location is ideal to visit all of the major attractions of Kanazawa. We walked everywhere and didn’t take the bus. For families with young children, there’s a brand new park just a 5 minutes walk away (in front of townsfolk coffee which has amazing coffee). There’s also a really good bakery (Hirami Pan) 100 meters away

Just WOW! The apartment is beautiful and very decorative. It's located in a beautiful street, very close to Namagachi district and Korinbo, walking distance from Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen gardens. The apartment is very electronic - even the toilet flush is electronic, and all the lights turn on/off by walking near it. The kitchen was fully equipped and very convinient. The bed was big and comfortable, and the room has Tatami (Japanese style dining area) so it was very cool. The staff waited outside the apartment and explained us about the facilities in the room, and she was very nice Definitely going to stay there again.

Our apartment was on ground floor, so we only had few steps to carry our big luggage. We paid attention that there are more apartments in upper floors, and we didn't see any elevator, so it might be a problem with big luggage.
