Kenroku Haitsu 302

There isn’t a sink in the bathroom so had to use kitchen sink for brushing teeth, shaving & washing hands- it worked out but a little inconvenient. Note that the stairs are steep if you have heavy luggage. Excellent location with convenient stores near by as well as restaurants. Close to bus line. Host was very helpful even though we didn’t speak the same language he did everything to assist with anything we needed. Would have been helpful to have a few more things in kitchen such as cutting board, sharp knife etc. place is old but very good place to stay

The property was inconspicious but not far from the perfect garden and the centre of town, or the national park. There was a selection of bikes for free hire at the front of the property that hugely facilitated our exploring of the city and a convenience store about a 2 minute walk away as well as a local shop a few doors down. Beds on wheels were super comfy and a nice reversion after a few futons. Nice view from the room being on the top floor.

The key exchange was a little confusing and the room had a few issues with cleanliness - in the cupboard we found a bag of black/brown rotten content and some coins left by a previous visitor and a few long hairs on the bedsheets, but nothing that put us off or upset us.

Room amenities were great, wifi good, location very good, access to bikes

Good location. You can take a bus from the train station. It's clean and quiet.

No flexibility for early check in. A single flat pillow is not enough. I had to request more.
