Solovi Dvori

Gorgeous exterior and interior. Very friendly host. The property is a converted barn/out building next to the host’s home. You have access to a lovely terraced area with a large dining table. Fantastic view over to Pag and up to the mountains. We had only booked 1 night but would have loved to have stayed longer. Would be great for accessing the mountains in the Autumn or Spring.

Everything was wonderful.

Beautiful, rustically furnished and cozy accommodation suitable for families with children. There are two double beds on the first floor, and a spare bed on the sofa in the room where there is a kitchen and a common room. Very nicely equipped with aesthetic details in a quiet environment, where you can especially sleep well in the dark and silence. Outdoor seating with a grill is also great.

GPS systems often provide poor directions to accommodations, leading you to narrow, steep dead ends. It's better to call the property owner directly before you arrive.

Nice Host, Clean place. They worked quite a lot for the place. Kitchen is available with Dishwasher. Perfect place if you are looking for Karlobag stay., Also has private parking.

The owners of Solovi Dvori are very nice, helpful and friendly people. We needed a parking space for 5 days to go hiking in the mountains before staying at their place and they let us park at their place (pre-season), hvala puno! Ivan built/rebuilt the small house himself with many lovely details. It's also very cutely decorated and well equipped (full kitchen accessories, even a washing machine). The house was spotlessly clean, we were very amazad, thank you! The king size bed is very comfortable and we slept very well in a quiet surrounding. The beach is only a few minutes away by foot, also a few restaurants, two studenac supermarkets and the bus stop. Very recommendable stay close by the Adria but still in quiet surroundings.

The bedroom on the top floor is a little dark and heats up quickly, even pre-season. A short blast with the installed air conditioning helped as well as an open window during the night (no moskitos yet...). Really a minor complaint.

We loved the stay in traditional Croatian house in quiet neighbourhood. You can also use the terrace with sea view and watch the sunset there. Hosts were very nice and I learned a lot of new things from them and even got some homemade nettle lemonade. Also I was surprised how good the snorkelling was at beach Trodražica - I learned that the sea around Karlobag is one of the cleanest on the Croatian coast thanks to wind called Bura.
