Vše proběhlo bez problémů. Velmi milá paní hostitelka. Ubytování hezké, čisté, vybavení dostačují. Kousek od pláže i centra města. Byli jsme moc spokojení.

The room was great, as were the hosts. My problem with Karlobag, is there is virtually no taxi service available. I arrived to Prizba by ferry. There were no taxis available. I managed to get the convenient store worker there to drive me there for €50. The guy brought me to Karlobag. Fine. But with the big suitcase and a 2nd knapsack, he could have dropped me off in front of the apartment. I struggled with those luggage for about 2 hours oner fairly hilly side roads at 36 degrees heat trying to find the apt. address.What a money grubbing opportunist some of these people in Croatia are. Trying to find a taxi on my way out of Karlobag was another daunting task. I spent most of one afternoon on the internet trying to find a taxi to Gospic. I could not. It’s a small town and nobody wants to be a taxi. So that evening I went to the seafront to look and ask for taxi references. I finally found one from the Tisak employee there, and I made arrangements to secure my ride. Yikes. The apartment itself was great, trying to get there by taxi: horrible.
