Location. Although not on the beach its only a short walk through a few alleys and a square to the marina and the beach next door. Great location for an array of restaurants. Air con (which was needed for the bedroom as it is in the roof space and was roasting without it). Easy access to the airport via a £6 uber.

It was smaller than the photos showed but was fine for 2 of us. Only one bed (the double) was made up and we had specifically gone for this property as it had two beds in the bedroom and we were friends sharing. Not a disaster but not ideal. There were also no towels left out. We did find some to use - one folded on the shelf and one hanging behind the front door. I'm sure if we had noticed earlier the owner would have come out again to give us some and make up the other bed but we didn't have time so made do. No request was made for our arrival time so although we arrived at 4pm (check in time opening) the owner had to come out to meet us which took about half an hour (and it took three phone calls and a message to get through to them). Again not a disaster but not ideal and probably our fault for not messaging them in advance.

Location - 2 mins from beach and plenty of cafes / bars / restaurants And quick bus ride to airport Very affordable!

No aircon on one of the levels ( it was very hot on this trip ) WiFi unreliable

Everything was "A" OK. Special thanks to the hosts, as they were extremely helpful and showed us some of the Split's surroundings (free boat tour)

Maybe the apartment was just a little bit smaller, than I expected.

Cozy apartment in the heart of a small town. Close to the beach and restaurants. Also very close to the airport. The apartment was newly refurbished with new furniture. Nice owners, very helpful.

Not the most affordable of our various 8 stays on Dalmatian coast but the uniqueness made it worth it!

Location was an unexpected surprise and delight. We booked one night in Kaštela as it was close to the airport. Apartment was 3 minute walk to the town beach, cafe, restaurants and bars. Beautiful location for our last evening having spent a week in Split and Korcula - this location held it's own. Our host met us with our keys and showed us to the apartment. We were texting back and forth on our arrival to the town and she met us within 5 minutes of our arrival. Apartment is small with a (comfortable) bedroom upstairs with air con, downstairs is the kitchen with sofa bed and a shower room just off the kitchen. We needed to be at the airport for 5:30am the next day and our host very kindly picked us up the next morning and dropped us off - over and above. Airport is about 10 minute drive.

Nothing negative to note. Just be aware the stairs to the bedroom are narrow and steep - although this is probably normal in these apartment / houses. It wasn't an issue for us.
