Kinghorn Town Hall

Unique Building. Large Rooms Comfortable furniture. Grandkids felt like they were staying in their very own castle.. close to all facilities.

Got draughty at night. Anyone with any infirmity at all will struggle with the space and stairs.

Very historic, beautiful castle-like lodging. Everything was well-kept.

The WiFi username/passcode did not work and it was difficult to get ahold of anyone about it. We never did get ahold of anyone.

Very well located. Close to train station and convenience stores

Slight mixup that meant that the rooms were not fully prepared.

Very spacious accommodation, lots of character and a convenient location. Different to anywhere we have ever stayed before. Also a great place to be at Halloween 👻 We would recommend the ship restaurant for a meal too.

The building itself The location

Filthy, dirty accommodation in need of a good deep clean - even had used toilet tissue left on bathroom floor! Kitchen and appliances unusable - everything greasy, dirty or broken - had to eat out for all meals including breakfast - couldn't even use kettle as rusty inside - had to boil water in a saucepan instead. Didn't like the unforseen expense of having to eat out all the time - we booked this because it's listed as having a kitchen - we just assumed we would be able to self cater and that the kitchen would be hygienic enough to use.

The building itself was beautiful and inside was spacious while still feeling comfortable. Kinghorn Town Hall was perfectly suited for our family and we all sad to leave. My ten year old son particularly loved the spiral staircase.

A couple of the door handles kept falling off, but my husband found an Allen key, tightened them and they were fine after that.
