Location is in a central location, ideal for walking around town. Apartment is best I’ve ever stayed in, everything is supplied that you would want or need. Parking is free and next to the apartment.

We really loved this apartment. It was perfectly situated for the town of Kirkwall. Useful shops were close at hand as were restaurants. The place itself was just right. There are three bedrooms, one en-suite, a bathroom and a decent sized living area. We felt safe and secure here. It was also on the ground floor so no stairs to climb. It also has a dedicated parking space. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

It’s not a dislike, more an observation, but I couldn’t find anything to clean up spillages with! Also, nothing to wash up with, which was fine as there is a very good dishwasher but I don’t like putting knives in the dishwasher. I suppose privacy could be an issue as it’s on the ground floor but the area around the block is very secluded so we weren’t bothered.
