Palm Garden House

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks and loved it! A very comfy and homey place at the end of a small alley - it's a bit away from the main street and surrounded by nature so it's very quiet and peaceful. Our room was very spacious with comfy bed, and the kitchen is well equipped (including a proper fridge/freezer) so highly recommend if you're wanting to cook during your stay. The room was cleaned every few days which was nice. The hosts (sorry I don't remember your names!) are super lovely, and we were able to rent a moped from them which was very convenient. Thanks so much for having us! 🙏

Note that if you can't ride a moped, this place might be inconvenient - it is possible to walk to the beach/shops but you'd need to walk 15 min + (each way) every time you'd want to go out.

XL room / apartment with very well stocked kitchen and large refrigerator. Quiet: away from the main road.

Very nice stay, quiet and cosy. 15 minutes to beach and buying groceries or 7-11 by foot. Recommend, German host.

Big room with kitchenette. Nice quiet location, friendly owners, and intimate location at entrance to rubber plantation, with walk options to beach and restaurants. Can rent scooters and bicycles from owners.

Walking to shopping, laundry, beaches and restaurants so need rental scooter or bicycle available onsite. Large studio room with kitchenette so cooking smells in bedroom which may or may not be a problem. However, our priority was renting a room with cooking option which not easy to find, so grateful for this facility.

The couple is just amazing ! They're super friendly and attentionate to everything. SUper calm place in and a clean room. Just amazing

Big room, big balcony with comfy chairs, table and shoe rack, great breeze. Well equipped kitchen with a hob and plenty of pans. Moveable fans with extension cables. Pretty much everything you need, including a beach mat, games, hair dryer, yoga mat, umbrellas, drying rack, super comfy office chair, decent size TV and sofa. The owners are really friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. 5 mins from Beautiful beach, 10 mins from Long beach.

Really big apartment, well equipped and in a nice quiet location. The beach and restaurants were just a short walk away. Host was very helpful and responsive. We rented mopeds from them and they also arranged our taxi back to the pier.

Everything was great, just one minor thing would be to have a brighter bedside light for reading. I’m sure the host would have sorted this but we only stayed a few nights so it wasn’t a major issue so didn’t mention it at the time.

I had to get some work done while on the island. This place was great for that, as it had fast internet and was very quiet. I was also able to rent a motorbike for a good price directly from the owners, and the kitchen was well equipped. Very convenient, especialluy for longer stays!

The size of the apartment was very spacious and clean. Good reception on arrival from the hosts. Other guests were lovely (Craig). A nice goodbye from the hosts before I left.

A bit out of the way, not that I had a problem walking around. I was offered a rental bike as well which would have helped if I was a competent driver. The host was not always around when needed some advice. The TV wasn't checked before I came, and had rusty batteries so didn't work.
