"Did not meet our basic expectations - apartment is not clean."

Location is the only positive about the property.

Apartment was not cleaned before we received the key. We had to vacuum/clean floor, chairs (dust settled) immediately on arrival. Microwave dirty, snail shell in microwave. Dirty floor mats and many more.

"Goede locatie op korte wandelafstand naar zee."

Een leuk terrasje met avondzon. Mooie en praktische badkamer. Mooi opgeknapt appartement. Zeer gastvrije host.

De koelkast en oven waren nog vuil bij aankomst. Alsook verschillende glazen, tassen, potten waren niet echt proper. Ook de ramen kunnen eens een poetsbeurt gebruiken.

"Smelly apartment"

The apartment had lots of natural light, a parking space and it is close to the beach

- the apartment was not available at the hour we confirmed twice with the host - the apartment was not clean. It smelled unappealing (like a combination stale cigarettes and unwashed sheets.) - host didn't respond to complaints texted or attempts to call

We had a very nice time in Oostduinkerke. The place was very good for a family with children and Karl was a welcoming and understanding host.
