Excellent location,not far from the ferry which serves the island,and close to the bars and restaurants,the shop,and to quiet beaches for swimming.The room was of good size;bathroom had all facilities,pleased that shower had a door which fully closed;it was a great bonus that there was a washing-machine which was not on the description on the website;adequate kitchen equipment and utensils;cleanliness excellent;bed was large and comfortable;very helpful,hospitable and attentive owners,we were able to use their iron and ironing-board;spacious patio/terrace with large table and plenty of chairs.

Disappointed that there was very little direct sunshine on the terrace,which was greatly shaded by trees and plants:this was not apparent from the website description.

The location on this beautiful little island could not have been better. The window looks out onto the bay and the large veranda is ideal for outside eating whist enjoying the lovely views. The studio is fine for 2 adults and is well equipped. The beach is a two minute walk and there are superb walks around the island. Any help or advice you need is readily given by the friendly hosts who do all they can to ensure your stay is as good as possible. The second time we've been back and probably will nit be the last

The location couldn't be better as well as the owners of the apartment who were really welcoming.

Path 5 min walk from the ferry (Easy to roll suitcases). Good location, just a few minutes walking to two beaches. Very quiet apartment (hosts lives upstairs, there are no cars, no buses on the island) surrounded by gardens,. There are also turtles that visits the property. Strong internet. The fridge-freezer is bigger than on the picture.

The apartment was dirty, cold and humid (in May with over 20 degrees outside). On the floor was dust, debris etc., dirty kitchen countertop, in many corners between furniture and walls spider nets, dust on bed frame and furniture, sticky thick layer of dust on the lamps in the bedroom, dirty fridge (with a hair, and sticky surface), some pots/dishes not washed, old cutlery, some of them having rust. Many spiders (big and small). The mattresses were uncomfortable, old and sagging. Lack of warm water in the kitchen, the door in the bedroom cannot be locked (only the wooden shutters is possible to lock with a key). The 2-bedroom apartment in the morning is quite dark (facing north-west). Lack of mosquito nets. 4 days before arrival we sent a message asking if we could leave our suitcases at the apartment before check in time - No response. I sent another message another day, never got a response. So we had to go to the apartment to ask. Upon arrival at 10am I asked the host if I could leave my suitcases before check in time. The host confidently stated the room was ready.

The apartment is beautiful. Such a great location for the beach and amenities. The host was so kind and helpful, she even made us cheesecake!

Koločep is a wonderful island to spend a few days (or a few months :) there. Quiet island life, incredible nature. It is an island of small thousand-year-old churches and friendly local people who are fishing for dinner from the pier. Be aware that there is only one store open on the island. His elderly saleswoman only takes cash, loves cats and only works a few hours a day :) Anyway there is almost nothing there. It is highly recommended to bring some products and wine from Dubrovnik with you (for example, in the morning before arriving we bought fresh fish and vegetables and the rest of the products at the market near the ferry-port and it was a very smart decision). The apartment we lived in made us feel like we were staying with relatives. The interior of our apartment is a bit old-style, but it has its own charm. Everything was great. We just weren't as lucky with the terrace as the other apartments because we didn't have the same amazing sea-view. But on the contrary we could have dinner and drink coffee out of sight of other people. The owners of the house are very friendly and nice people, to whom we are grateful for everything. It was especially nice that we were allowed to check out much later (there were no other guests that day) without extra charges. And one day we were treated to a homemade pie, and it was so delicious. Their yard and home and garden are all full of love that you feel. A beach where nudists swim during the day is the best place to meet the sunset with wine in the evening. We highly recommend spending your evenings like this) In general, the island is small, it is easy to get around it in one day. But if you stop running all the time, breathe out, listen to the quiet island life, you can really relax and feel happiness.
