City tax is paid in cash - we had to look for atm.to be able to pay, the stairs in the flat are small - when walking down you sratch the feet

A modern stylish apartment in the centre of the old town built to a high standard.

The front of the apartment was south facing so very hot 🥵 during our stay and no black out curtains to stop the heat coming in. The air conditioning was only at the back There was a bar next door with outdoor seating which on the Saturday night also had live music until 12.30 which meant we could not sleep at the front until it was finished. There is no mention of a bar next door on the listing!….This really affected our enjoyment of our stay!

The apartment was very quiet.

The host was waiting for us at our appointed time to access the property. the apartment is very new, modern and has everything you would need for a longer stay. It was in walking distance to the important sights of the town and nearby restaurants.

large apartment, all that you require is there. it’s as central in Komárno as you can get and it’s clean. the kitchen is equipped with an oven, dishwasher and the basic things required to cook.

At night, in the back there are dogs barking consistently. In the front bedroom, the curtains are not fully covering the windows which is a bit annoying because you cannot get it fully dark. (see picture) In the end we chose the front bedroom because the dogs were the most annoying. There are some things missing in the kitchen like a small bottle of oil, an oven dish, a lid for the large frying pan, a cleaning cloth and an extra towel.
