THE TORII

施設内の設備がどれも豪華で充実しておりとても快適だった。食事もホテル内で自炊ができたので、安価で自由に楽しめたのは良かった。市内の中心部に近く、とても便利のいい所だった。

国道沿いだった事もあり、夜中でも車の通りが多く十分に眠れなかった事。

The place was very well kept and easy identify when arriving. The owner spoke a very good english and guided us well on how things worked inside the house. The location is near Kumamoto Castle (15min of walking). Overall a very good experience, i can't recommend this place enough !

My only complaint is that the place is a bit far from the train station BUT it's easily accessible through tramways and buses.

Dit grote appartement met hoge plafonds is gebouwd in een voormalig kantoorgebouw. Het is ruim, het is schoon en alles doet het. Aan de overkant van de weg is een gezellig buurtje met restaurants en op loopafstand begint het centrum van de stad. De communicatie met de beheerder is soepel en er is 1 plek om een auto te parkeren

像家一樣的入住體驗，房東太太人很友善也很親切 與朋友一起度過一個舒適的晚上 まるで自宅のようにくつろげる滞在体験で、ホストの奥様はとても親切でフレンドリーでした。友人と一緒に快適な夜を過ごすことができました。

we like the free parking, the cooking facilities available. even coffee powder was provided :)

a little set-back is have to walk along a narrow pavement to the apartment.

一切都非常完美！太棒的住宿地點

The Torii is a surprising, terrific place to stay in Kumamoto. This third floor (accessible by private elevator) apartment is retro in style, grandiose in size, and very comfortable. Upon ringing the doorbell, we were greeted by the owner who showed us to the elevator and then helped us access the key and enter the residence. Every space in the Torii is large with high ceilings. It's clear that this residence was meticulously designed, and it's furnished and decorated beautifully. The beds here took over the top spot as most comfortable in Kyushu (besting the fav Kagoshima Chuo hotel); so comfy. My wife, daughter and I had plenty of room to spread out. There's a second bath off the bedroom. The shower room is huge. While there isn't a clothes dryer, hanging the clothes in a room with an air conditioning unit and turning the fan up was very effective for us. There are many nice boutiques and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Like Kumamoto itself, the Torii was a very pleasant surprise.

My only gripe is that this is advertised as a two bedroom, but there's no divider between the beds on one side of the room and the beds on the other side of the room. So effectively this has one big bedroom.
