The Retreat Tranquil Countryside Apartment

The beautiful bespoke decor. The amazing setting. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home. Our dog loved the garden. It was the best break away from home in lovely surroundings and Dagmar is to be congratulated on looking after her guests so well.

Been here a few times very clean and lovely experience. Love going out late at night and using the fire pit. Will definitely be back again

The bathroom was nice and the bed was very comfortable. It's good that you can bring dogs. The location is good but it's hard to find.

The kitchen area is really small, especially considering the size of the bathroom. The fridge had been turned up to full and all our salad froze. It feels quite dark and oppressive inside the living area partly due to the dark, crazy decor. The rug looked scruffy and hard to clean. The dog enjoyed sniffing it, which made me wonder how many other dogs had done the same. The rest of the place was spotless though. The bedroom decor was really gaudy and not at all relaxing. If the rest of the apartment was decorated like the bathroom (plain, light colours) it would have felt more like a retreat.
