Fully equiped appartament with everything you might need for stay, for cooking. We arrived at a really short notice (booked at 17:00 and arrived at 20:30) and everything was ok. Appartment is quite big, two rooms - enough space and enough fresh air. :)

We had to turn on boiler and fridge by ourselves, but taking into account the short notice, that is fine. In bathroom it would be great to have a small shelf or something like that.. :)

Quite surroundings, remote area. Good if you are looking for an escape from city and noise. Friendly host. Spacious apartment. Comfortable couch

Bathroom towels were dirty. its really calm and literally nothing to do near by. Closest city is 30 minutes drive away. No restaurants or place to eat close to apartment (there is a small shop just around the corner). Staircase is stinky. No beach/ place to go to the lake, or hang out nearby water.

Location was perfect, you could literally see the lake from a bedroom window, beautiful surroundings.

There was barely any furniture in the apartment. It was the most uncomfortable in the bathroom because the sink was very tiny, so could barely fit any skincare items or toothbrushes on it, and there was one hook where to place your clothing, not even a stool or shelf where to put any items! The owners could have at least provided the bathroom with one old stool or something so you don’t end up putting a lot of things on the bathroom floor. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to make the place more comfortable! In the bedrooms there were no chairs either, just sofas and beds. In the toilet there was barely any toilet paper provided. What we were very disappointed and annoyed with was the fact that the fridge didn’t even work! Also beware that there are no radiators or a fireplace in the apartment so I’d avoid travelling there during winter months. One more thing, we were very frustrated with the fact that there were towels only for one person so we ended up buying more towels cause we were three people staying over. I’d highly suggest the owners rethink how they are hosting people because it can leave a really bad taste in your mouth while visiting certain locations in the country. Clearly owners are not interested in promoting tourism in the region and making people want to come back, we for example couldn’t recommend our friends or family to come to Lipuski because of the owners not caring enough if tourists have a good experience. It’s a shame really because Latgale is very underdeveloped when it comes to tourism and it would really benefit from the locals trying to make the best of it and making sure it’s a warm welcome to whomever visits the region. And I am saying that as a Latvian myself and wishing that more people would visit Latgale so that the region could blossom.
