Polytropon Apartments

L'appartamento si trova in una villa molto suggestiva in zona Kastro (a due passi dal castello di san giorgio). L'appartamento ha tutto quello che serve per stare bene, immerso nel verde della collina con vista sul versante ovest del monte Ainos. Balcone sia in camera da letto matrimoniale (con affaccio su verde) sia dal soggiorno (con affaccio su strada dove passano auto di rado e dove si gode di una piacevole vista e dove a fine luglio arrivavano le luci calde del tramonto). Posto auto riservato a 1 passo. L'appartamento è giusto nelle dimensioni e nelle dotazioni. C'è quello che serve e non di più e non di meno. Se cercate il lusso e l'estremo comfort forse meglio cercare altrove. Se cercate un posto fresco, sereno, con carattere (anche nell'arredo con pavimento e alcuni elementi di arredo recuperati con gusto) dove dormire bene, ascoltare le cicale e guardare un cielo stellato la sera allora fa al caso vostro. La zona è ottima visitare le spiagge del sud e relativamente comoda per il resto delle spiagge. Per come è fatta Cefalonia è difficile trovare la zona ideale. Io l'ho trovata comoda per raggiungere le spiagge anche del versante est e per la vicinanza a due ottimi ristoranti e bar che sono lì nel borghetto (sia Il Borgo che Olive Lounge Restaurant sono da provare).

tavolo del soggiorno un po scomodo, doccia non enorme, cucina non il massimo se si ha intenzione di cucinare tutti i giorni perchè ha giusto 2 piastre elettriche (come si vede dalle foto).

Δεν μας άρεσε που διακόπηκε το WIFI λόγω αποσύνδεσης σε χώρο που δεν είχαμε πρόσβαση και δεν υπήρχε ευχέρεια πλήρους αποκατάστασης. καθώς η υποδειχθείσα τηλεφωνικά ενναλακτική λύση άλλου δικτύου ήταν πολύ αδύναμη. Ύπαρξη απίστευτου αριθμού κουνουπιών μέσα στο κατάλυμα, παρά την χρήση από εμάς των σιτών και των αντικουνουπικών που διατίθεντο. Κατά πάσα πιθανότητα το πρόβλημα ήταν ευρύτερο.

Grande gentilezza e attenzioni da parte di Anthi! Posto tranquillissimo,aria condizionata ok, pale al soffitto in sala, doppia camera da letto. Due balconcini stupendi. Parcheggio privato. Kastro in ottima posizione, ristorante appena sopra con vista mozzafiato. Completano l'opera dvd con film di ogni tipo, libri a disposizione. Tutto ok, grazie Anthi!

The position of the apartment house is perfect. Fantastic view to the mountains and the peak of Ainos. We stayed here 10 nights and went across the whole island from there. Kastron is a fairly small settlement, but it has two excellent restaurant and a bar to have a dinner or breakfast. Parking is possible next to the apartment house, but only two spaces are available. However at least four apartments are in the house, so sometimes no empty parking space. In this case parking is possible on the street, although Kastron is crouded with parking cars in evenings. However, I have to say, I found parking space every nigh. The host is very helpful, although we did not meet her, we could arrange everything by text message. The apartment was cleaned every 3 days. At that time the towels and bed lines were also changed. There is a washing machine in the bathroom, that is very useful during a longer staying.

The bandwidth of WiFi is very low. I measured lower than 1 Mbyte internet speed, that is todays already practically unusable. The kitchen is modestly equipped, a microvawe, a toaster some wine glass and a usable corkscrew would be useful.

If you're going to explore the island, the apartment is very well located. Excellent restaurant near by. The owner was very nice. We checked in very late around 1am and checked out around 7h30 pm.

Apartment should be better cleaned and well ventilated before tenants arrival.
