The location, garden and amenities were greats, there were many extras that were appreciated. The host was very helpful and welcoming, she was prompt in her responses and punctual. The unit was clean and attention was given to details.

The host had an unusual expectation of cleanliness, and said that the place was “very dirty” even though we did our part as guests to keep everything tidy. Cleaning after each visit is an absolute basic that is the responsibility of the host.

Silvia's accommodation was a pleasant experience. Her kindness and constant availability made our stay very enjoyable. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to comfortably prepare meals. The cleanliness of the accommodation was remarkable, and having WiFi available was convenient for our communication and entertainment needs. The use of the garden with the loungers was a fantastic addition to our stay. The location was excellent, with the lake being just 15 minutes away. However, it's worth noting that Menaggio is situated on a hillside, and the path involves several flights of stairs. Nevertheless, we found the walk enjoyable and appreciated the beautiful surroundings. Upon our arrival, Silvia informed us that the ceiling fan was out of order. She promptly provided us with a table fan as an alternative.

The bed was slightly softer than preferred, but that is certainly a matter of personal taste.

The flat is located in a really picturesque part of town, with great views overlooking the lake. It has all your essential amenities to make you feel at home and was comfortable enough throughout my stay.

The flat was a bit tricky to get to especially with the steep cobbled alleyways going up the hills.

We loved this well maintained ground floor apartment in a quiet complex, set in a lush green garden with postcard views over Lake Como and the mountains. Located above the charming (but busy during the day) town of Menaggio, it was the perfect base to relax, appreciate the magnificent landscape and avoid the crowds. The short 900m hike 85m uphill on pedestrian friendly pathways from the bus stop/supermarket/cafes/lakefront was actually a pleasurable experience in such a picturesque location. It was a perfectly functional older studio apartment inside that has been well maintained by the lovely host. We enjoyed brewing supplied coffee in the designer yellow moka pot and preparing simple meals in the kitchen with ingredients from the fantastic Conad supermarket down the hill. We would happily choose to stay here again.

Lovely tidy apartment with nice gardens. Comfortable bed & all the amenities needed for our stay. There is a fantastic little restaurant further up the hill that we went to for a meal also. Silvia was a fantastic host & we really enjoyed staying here.

We met Silvia on time in front of the complex. Everything was perfectly explained! She provided us with all the information about the room and facilities and helped us with all our questions. She was very gentle and friendly. She also replied to all our messages immediately all the time. The room is located in a quite and spacious complex of apartments. It is in the ground floor with no private balcony. It has a large garden in which you can move a folded sun chair and relax there. Fully equipped room and very cozy! I would definitely stay again there. I highly recommend it for couples or 3 people max, as the extra bed is a folding sofa.

All was according to our expectations!

Silvia was a great host and the room was perfect for my three night stay. It was spacious, had everything I needed, and a fantastic view out the window. The bed was very comfortable too. I used Menaggio as a base for the Greenway and Monte Grona hikes, and it was ideal for this.

I didn’t have a car so the location wasn’t ideal. A 15-20 minutes uphill walk from the center of town, and 10-15 minutes downhill to get there. Also, and I know the garden is shared, but the grass needs to be cut. It is so long, it makes the complex look unkempt and uncared for. This had no negative impact on my stay, but the owners of the apartments should have some pride and look after their lawn.
