Kind host.

Shared bathroom, but clean and nice.

Wonderful room with a shared bathroom, right in the center of Mechelen. Paid parking lot at a few minutes walk.

The property is really neat, clean, and hygienic. I love the ambience and the reception. Great host.

We had a very pleasing stay at Casa Christel. We met the host on the first day and she was very nice to us, she showed us around and shortly explained everything in the house underlining that she was reachable at any time if we needed. We loved our room (Cosy on the first floor), it was exactly as in the pictures. The room was very clean and quiet, had all the necessary for a simple stay, even had a sofa, a small table for breakfast and a mini fridge (as shown in the pictures) that Christel so thoughtfully refilled with water for us. I appreciated her kindness in giving us glasses, plates, bowls and cutlery if we wanted to comfortably dine in our room and in the morning we really enjoyed having the freedom of preparing a cup of coffee/tea using the coffee/tea station she put at our disposal. The bathroom on the first floor is beautiful, well enlighted and well equipped. You can either use the shower or the tub and, although the bathroom wasn't private, we really felt at ease using it because we didn't feel like someone else was using it as well. Moreover, the house is well positioned, in a quiet area, by foot it is around 10/15 minutes away from Mechelen's center and easily reachable. Overall it was a very nice experience, we thank Christel for making us feel welcomed and at home and we highly recommend it if you're in Mechelen!
