GBThe property is beautiful and Marina (host) and her families kindness and hosting skills take the experience to another level. Room is as seen on pictures and the kitchen is well laid out. The terrace is the cherry on the cake with the best view of Mondello. Excellent location close to the beach and public transport links. Transfers arranged by host were excellent and recommended. My train was 3 hours late but my friendly, welcoming transfer was there waiting at 10.30 pm. Marina made me feel like I was visiting family which is a money can’t buy experience.
I saw a few bugs but it is sometimes part of the course in historical buildings. Host provided bug plug in which I recommend you utilise.

AMeverything) - hosts: you want to stay there for a long-term only for the people, beautiful people, Marina and her husband that made you feel like in a family providing everything you need, and even more. Marina treated us with so many tasty things including her famous Carciofi, that now we have to come back with presents from our homes. - great location: minutes from Palermo, amazing beach and free parking, two steps from the beach and locals - amenities and interior, you feel like at home

GBOur hosts were very charming. The area was a leafy and quiet wealthy suburb; it’s a pleasant easy walk to the beach and about 15-20 minutes stroll to the village centre
From the photos and reviews we assumed we would be staying in a roof top apartment with a private terrace, but it was apparently pot luck as to which place one is allocated- we were given a garden room, not at all what we thought. It was comfortable and plenty of space for two; but the lack of privacy was not good. The glass doors open directly into the host’s garden , a few feet from their front door. The gardener blew leaves inches from us and there was no privacy at all; people outside chatting, and as the room was open plan we had to keep the blinds down. We guess the owners assumed we would be all day in Palermo city or on the beach, when in reality we’d hoped to spend peaceful evenings on a private roof terrace reading and cooking…. The mosquitoes were bad! But the hosts were generous- allowing us to leave baggage on last day as our flight was night time; and even letting us use an outdoor shower before we left.
GBThe apartment was amazing, situated in a prime place along the coastline of Mondello. It was well equipped with everything you could need, from a speaker to a coffee machine. Marina was a great host, she took the time to talk us through all the facilities and recommend the best restaurants. It’s definitely the nicest apartment we’ve ever stayed in, would 100% recommend to anyone holidaying in Mondello. Best part was the balcony which exceeded all expectations! The view couldn’t get any better 😊
We loved everything!
HULovely apartment very close to the beach. The owner is helpful, he help us to find restaurants, bars in the city. There was a gift for us when we arrived (local pasta with tomato and olive oil). We could check in earlier and check out later. I recommend this for everyone, who wanted to experience the typical Italian beach life.
