the location right at the castle wall was nice and it was a cute old house. the shower, a/c, toaster all worked well.

for its cuteness, Casa do Castelo would deserve a bit more of care. as guests we felt as the house - a bit uncared for. we had to call to find out how to enter the apartment. the house was clean, but not with much care. the linen and towels were clean but old - the towels had holes). in similar type of places in Alentejo, hosts often take care to leave some tokens (tea, fruit, olive oil/vinegar) for the guests as a welcome, but sadly this was not the case here.
