This cottage is one block from the water front of Tres Palacios bay so a great spot to stay to go fishing. It's not really a swimming area but the cottage is also just a couple of blocks from the city pool. It was comfortable and easy to find and get in and out. I recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Coastal Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained everything was. The home was so thoughtfully stocked with everyday essentials—far beyond what even most hotels provide—which was such a pleasant surprise and made our stay feel extra special. As a teacher in need of some true relaxation, this cottage was the perfect escape. Palacios itself was the ideal getaway for my husband and me, and this home made it all the more memorable. The shower was incredible, the atmosphere peaceful, and the hosts were simply excellent. This is truly a hidden gem—I honestly wish I could give it more than 5 stars. We are so grateful for this experience and will most definitely be back in the future.
