We asked for a second duvet as we are not used to one only, this was declared not possible. It was no bother to bring one of our own (travelling by car) but what do people do when they arrive by plane? It is a minor point as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there (cf. above) but still.

Idyllic country location just outside of Penzance and a short drive to Mousehole, Land’s End and St, Ives. The hosts created a perfect sanctuary with everything we could want for comfort and convenience. The spotlessly clean, modern studio is nicely decorated with a seaside feel, and shows a great attention to providing everything for a lovely stay, including a full kitchen and a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed sitting out in the evenings, enjoying the view of the valley and listening to the chirping birds. We wished we could have stayed longer.

The studio and the views from the studio were stunning. The studio is on a little hill (of sorts), which allows for a bird's eye view of the nearby St Michael's Mount from the yard. If one were inclined to wake up early one can catch a lovely sunrise from the east-facing windows. It felt like Jacky and Pervaiz went the extra mile to pick out little thoughtful elements for the studio that makes the stay complete, from textured non-slip shower floors to chopsticks. We had a bit of trouble unlocking the door at first and Pervaiz very quicky popped by to help us (pro tip: if the key won't turn 360 degrees, pull/push the door firmly towards the frame to realign). We had a lovely time and would recommend!

The studio is about half a mile uphill from the nearest bus stop (without good sidewalks) so it's not suited for those who plan on using public transit instead of driving.

If you’re looking for a home away from home, this is the place to stay with everything you could need. On top of the facilities, the view is just breathtaking.
