Flat by the sea

The location was perfect with decent bars serving good food (Henry's for a Sunday roast recommended) and there were various takeaways and shops, one being a supermarket within easy walking distance. It's also literally a few minutes walk to the front or harbour. The apartment was ample big enough for the 2 of us, with everything to hand that was needed. Having a large decent TV was nice to have as well, rather than a portable shoved in some corner. We would definitely book again without any problem, even though the high street's been ruined, see below .

Some bright spark from the council has decided to spend thousands and thousands of pounds making the main high street a pedestrian zone. It probably looked good on a lap top along with the "Artist impression" of how it may look with bicycles riding up and down and people sat around drinking coffee. Reality is though it's made the high street look and feel like a ghost town, with the concrete boulders, no entry signs, bollards and the CCTV coverage to make sure no motorist ventures up there it's a mess and real shame. We've been going to Paignton for the last 30 years and it won't put us off but the for the local traders they must be, to put it politely, not impressed, the same as us.

Everything was fantastic a great place to stay nice size well worth the money very close to all shops pubs etc

Bed was comfy host was really nice and there to help even when messaged her quite late

Shower didnt get hot properly was either scoulding hot or freezing cold no in the middle

Ideally located close to the main esplanade and shops so very short walk
