"Disappointing. Heating controlled by owner!"

Unfortunately the heating was controlled remotely by the property owner who deemed that in April the temp should be 19 degrees. 19 degrees suited fine some of the time but at certain times it was quite chilly. I soon found out that for the heat to be boosted for an hour or so I had to contact the owner and ask him if he could please turn the heat up for a while. I had to do this several times throughout our 3 day stay. I found this unacceptable and very disappointing and I’m afraid it did spoil our stay. Obviously I wouldn’t have booked if I had known we would have no control of the heating in the apartment for our stay.
