Positano Holiday House

The view from our stay was amazing. The pictures provided are exactly as is. The host was phenomenal. She was responsive and helpful with arranging private transportation for us. She was also helpful to answer any questions that we had in a prompt manner. She had a bottle of wine, snacks, juice, milk and water available for us upon arrival!

Knowing that Positano is located on the cliff side, it obviously comes with steps, a lot of them. Personally, I didn’t mind the steps. I’m active and enjoyed the cardio. However, some others may not, like my friend I traveled with. The bed was hard, but I’ve been told by others and through research this isn’t uncommon in European countries. The smaller bathroom did have a slight odor when water was in use.

We found everything very good. The hostess was very nice, more than happy to help out. Loved the views, stairs are a lot, but that’s Positano. Just have to wait for the bus. Lots of great restaurants, very Beautiful place to stay😍

Location was perfect — near a bus stop so no need to climb or descend hundreds of stairs. Also just below a street with good restaurants, a tabacchi, a grocery store, and the major street that winds along the coast (ie, easy access to everything). The apartment is huge! Clean and big enough for 4-6 comfortably, plus cold A/C which worked even when it was 98 degrees. Stefania is the main reason to book here though. She was a huge help in getting us everything we needed like private transportation — it’s pricey but well worth it since they’re essentially well-dressed personal drivers in nice cars or, mostly, black SUVs or vans. Not taxi drivers! She was also helpful in dinner reservations and in reserving a boat with or without a captain. And tours. The list goes on… she’s a wonderful concierge!

The only (small!) quibble I have is that beach towels weren’t included, not even for rent. It was one of the only beach towns on our trip, so having to lug around a beach towel afterward that we would have had to buy wasn’t in the plans. So we just used the extra ones in the bathroom instead.

Great views, spacious, all home facilities - kitchen, washer, tv in each bedroom and living room, wifi. Close access to beach and town pathways. Easy access to bus!
