CasaMia Positano - sea view and private outdoor hot tub

Carlo was amazing. Took us to the local restaurant which had beautiful food. He even asked them to stay open for a little longer as we arrived just as they were closing. Apartment was incredible. Even had alcohol there that we could drink!

Carlo was very helpful and friendly, accommodating our hire car (for a fee), at short notice. He went through all we needed to know and regularly checked the hot tub requirements in a considerate and unobtrusive way. The apartment was very clean and had a lot of space, a comfortable kingsize bed, a well equipped kitchen, effective air con, a complimentary bar, absolutely stunning views, peaceful setting towards the higher end of Positano. Means more height to climb, steps to tackle but also away from the crowds, with the best views.

Although the bathroom was very clean, the shower is little on the small size. It was good enough for 6ft and 5ft 6 people and wouldn't put me off booking again. There are quite a lot of steps involved getting down to the apartment and therefore back up to the car park. Which meant lugging heavy bags challenging but not insurmountable.This wouldn't put me off booking again, as was manageable and with the steps down to the bus point, even improved fitness levels!

Amazing view of Positano! Super comfortable stay. Easy to check in and check out! Great advantage of having on site parking and bus accessible. The apartment is perfect for 4. Loved our stay and the owner was super gentle, accommodating and knowledgeable- got great recommendations!

Long walk to the beach might not be for everyone, however you can easily take a cab or bus

The location is a very long way from the heart of Positano. The host never mentioned that we might need a porter to help with the luggage from the nearest bus stop. The steps up to the property are very extreme when carrying suitcases and a porter is essential. I cannot understand why the host never informed us about the need for a porter.

The inside and garden of the house were all great. The facilities were very nice and everything was very clean. Very nice plus to have a washer, full kitchen, and access to a bar. The AC worked great too which is a plus in the summer.

I reserved this apartment for the main reason is because they had a pool, which is highly advertised when booking this stay. We traveled for our honeymoon and we thought it would be really nice to have a pool with great view and able to relax. I understood that the pool is shared with other guests in the community and knew that would be fine. However, the issue that I had is that we were told upon arrival that we would be required to wear swim caps whenever we get into the water at the pool and we could only bring water in a plastic bottle down to the pool. On the topic of swim caps, I understand that it is not a massive issue but it would have been great to know what would have been required prior to booking. Especially when traveling for a honeymoon, a swim cap does not fit into the vibe and environment that we were trying to create. With the topic of only having plastic water bottles, it makes it extremely inconvenient to have to walk up to the apartment to get a snack or other drink if you want it. I understand that these are not deal breakers for some people and this could be a wonderful stay, but the description highlights the pool with the view but the guest is lead to have different expectations from what the reality is. If I would have know this, I would have spent a couple extra hundred Euros on a hotel to be closer to the main area of Positano and have the comfort of a pool with none of these requirements. Main point I am trying to make is to ensure there is full transparency and no surprises when showing up.

Carlo met us at Casa Mia and explained everything about his apartment. He was extremely friendly and helpful. Throughout the entire stay Carlo was just a text message away and answered all of our questions. His recommendations were brilliant!

We loved everything although the stairs (typical of Positano) were a challenge!
