The place was amazing but we were not allowed to swim, what’s the point of booking a place but you can’t swim 😞😞😞😣

The host was calm however alot of things were not up to standard or maybe we didn't know we were booking someone apartment but thought we were booking a vacation home. We didn't have electricity on the firts night, we contacted her and her answer was we know electricity is an issue in South Africa the generator should be back on. The generator kicked in all the other rooms beside ours 15 minutes past then it kicked, few moments later we got a call starting that we shouldn't cook or use any appliances, we were forced to request an uber to go get food and which was very costly at we had food to cook with us. The next morning we woke up to no electricity, the we went to the pool arear and we were turned back at the gate because we needed a facial recognition. The room had 1 toilet roll, 30 ml unbranded shower gel, empty can of air freshener, the Tv remote wasn't working we tried logging into Netflix/ Showmax using our credentials but still. And the host said you can watch YouTube only a duration of two nights. I feel scammed for the price we paid and my friend said our chat with the lady shouldn't have been an indication that the place is a no go area
