"I can certainly recommend anyone to stay there."

I loved the view from the room balcony. Food at restaurant was fine.

The checking in process was not pleasant, but got the needed support - however, that can be improved.

"I regret staying at that apartment."

The location is great

The host didn't provide the bare minimum like access to the lagoon, there was a heater but the gaz canister was empty, just to cite a few. The host's communication was poor. Also there was odor coming from the guest bathroom infesting to the living room. The custains do not open.

alot of hidden fees, untidy place, with some electronic things not working, alot of hidden information about the rules and regulations in the estate, poor customer service regarding communication with the host, seems like there is some scamming happening in that unit cause he Recieved a not from securities about us making noise after 22:00 yet we weren't even home at that time and no security came to knock at the door to alert us about any noise, very rude host we had Mr Idris, there was some insects in the place showing that it's nit properly cleaned as much as we had to pay R500 (compulsory) for cleaners, we actually spent more than we had budget, we even had to pay to go into the lagoon and according to my knowledge that was supposed to be mentioned in the bookings Secondly our damage fee was not refunded as much as we ddnt damage anything yet he kept it and said it's for the noise we were making the previous night, this guy is really a scammer the estate itself is the best but that particular individual will give us bad experience which will ruin the name of the estate, please be careful of the unit 1408 in block 125, the appliances were not fixed at all even after we reported them as we arrived we had difficulties warming food and having proper lighting system in the house I really think I wasted my money with that guy could have knew better and would have never booked that apartment.

"Host with stinking attitude"

The premises, the unit was clean and neat.

What a terrible experience we had with the host from the day before arrival. The trip was paid 2 weeks prior and we were only told about the deposit the day before arrival and told we must pay that before the end of that day. The idea that we needed to beg the host for an access code to leave and return to the premises, when requesting for a code we asked we were told we are "disturbing his peace". We stood 45 Mins outside the premises in the early hours waiting for him to generate a code. Leaving the premises on Sunday was a mission even though checkout is at 10am but we had to beg for the code which was sent 30 mins after requesting. The smell of the unit upon arrival was not pleasant at all. The microwave was not working and the host was not aware. The Blyde is a beautiful place, just don't go via an agency like this guy; as another couple were experiencing the same problem, rather book via the website.

The lifestyle area and the convenience of food from the restaurant

Host provided incorrect directions to the apartment and never responded when we told them we are lost - we spent an hour inside the estate just to find the apartment and allocated parking which is on the other side. The frustrating admin of getting face recognition just to drive in and out of the estate. When we checked in, the offices were already closed so we couldn't leave to get food for the evening. The following day we waited in the sun for an hour just to get face recognition in order for us to go out and we were late for our event. The bed was uncomfortable and old. Could not log into Netflix to watch movies because of either the WiFi or tv settings. The host communicates through 4 different numbers and you have to go through each number to find information and instructions which was tedious.
