Everything was pefect

The host was great. The unit was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Ooh, and the backup power was much appreciated.

I had issues with the access system. The links provided for the QR code somehow didn't work on my phone, which resulted in unnecessary delays and frustration every time I had to leave or enter the place.

To be honest, nothing... For R4300 for 2 nights I would have expected something cleaner than what I walked into..

The moment we got out of the car in the rain, the owner drops off his friend and tell me and my family to wait just there in the rain. When we got to the apartment, it looked nice and clean. BUT when we started to unpack and look closer, it was shocking. There were towels available and thank GOODNESS I packed our own towels. I have never ever in all my days seen towels of places that we rented so disgusting. They were dirty and bleach stains everywhere. So that went to the corner. Next I saw the bed that my son had to sleep on had stains everywhere so I took the uncomfortable couch pillows that were stuffed used tissues between the pillows and used my son's own blanket for a sheet and his own pillow because the pillow he was suppose to use had someone elses blood on that dried... Same with our bed. Dirty and sheets were not even ironed or bed made properly. Saturday morning I woke up and when I made the bed I almost died as I saw I slept on someone elses dried blood. I did look in the cupboards for extra linen and I was shocked to see other people's dirty shoes and stuff in there, the linen was thrown in. My son came in running Saturday afternoon with condoms that were in the bathroom cabinet asking me "mommy what is this?" Saturday afternoon we wanted to braai and the one braai looked worse than the other, the one braai we used was dirty and full of cigarette buds, we are not smokers and we do not appreciate cigarette buds in our braai. The braai grid was so so dirty and nothing to clean it with. I am sorry but for the price we paid for 2 night stay i expected more. The ad is also false as his ad said private pool which we did not have.
