Varandas do Basalto

Very nice apartment, great view of Pico from the terrace, lots of space. The owners are taking great care of the apartment and the guests. Located right next to the runway of the airport, but there is no noise (only a handful of departures per day). Parking directly on the property. Grocery store only a few minutes away. Fully equipped kitchen, modern interior with beautiful design, washing machine available.

We had a fantastic stay. Location outside the city probably difficult to reach if you don't have a car, but it's perfect if you have a rental car.

Nice modern house. The mattress is very comfortable, the best we had on our 14 days trip around the islands. Everything was sparkling clean. Host provided us milk and some biscuits which were really great as we arrived late and markets were closed.

Some essentials in the kitchen would be great, like sugar.

It is a very spacious, modern, clean and comfortable accommodation, with all conveniences. Excellent value for money. Communication with the host was smooth and efficient. Overall, great place, highly recommended.

Could be slightly noisy due to the road in front of the house. Great rooftop terrace but no chairs, hopefully they will be provided soon.

Everything was neat, clean, new and really comfortable. The apartment exceeded our expectations.

Varandas do Basalto is a quite good accommodation. Very large rooms all facilities for a house available. Nothing to remark.
