Large Luxury Studio in Heart of Richmond

Location was inmejorable. Centric, convenient, safe, lively, interesting and lots to do in the vicinity of the flat. The property itself was well fitted with no essentials missing. Space is cozy but not uncomfortable or too tight to move around and accommodate one's luggage and its contents. The living room is well lit up both from the windows and the lights in the apartment. The bedroom is a bit less naturally bright but still well lit.

No sofa couch which is not ideal for a living room. The two chairs seem more like outdoor furniture than indoors. It would be good to have a couch in the property which is quite common in similar rental places. There was some garbage under the bed which pointed to superficial brooming or vacuuming of the floors. We detected this in during our first week by accident, after one of my earrings fell to the floor by the bed. Most significantly the intercom would buzz several times interrupting our sleep every day for the first 3 weeks between 2-3 a.m. I communicated this to the property management in two occasions and it may have gotten resolved close to the end of my stay when I heard less of the buzzing.

Perfect location on the high street, the flat was very nice and cosy, surprisingly spacious for a studio. The host was very nice and responsive. Deposit returned without any issues.

Brilliant location in central Richmond opposite the Old Town Hall with a view down to the Thames. It’s a compact apartment but everything we needed for a comfortable week’s break in London.

Electrical panel/cupboard should not be in the bedroom. We found this a bit strange.

Really nice studio in the heart of Richmond, 9 mins walk from the train station, with plenty of restaurants, bars/pubs and shops around. The studio itself was very cozy and clean, everything was planned to the very last detail there and you could find anything you need for a comfortable stay.

Not sure if this is a good option for business travellers. After the studio was booked, I got an email from the host about a €500 deposit that needs to be paid through a 3rd party link, which made me a little uncomfortable as it almost makes you think it might be a scam. Luckily it wasn't, however please be aware that the 3rd party gives you 2 options - authorize a deposit + unrefundable €10 fee that you pay out of your pocket, or alternatively you can pay a waiver of €35 euros. As there's no invoice for this, it is very invonvenient if you travel for business and then need to claim you expenses back. Please also be aware that to get an invoice for your stay, again if you need it for business purposes, might take 15 to 30 days, which is a very long wait. Perfect place if you travel for pleasure, not so convenient if you travel for business.
