Wohnen am See Villa Schrötter direkt am Traunsee

The apartment is in a beautifully restored period villa set in a stunning garden which is partly open to guests, with access to the lake. Parking was available securely on the property. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful and have lots of local knowledge. Our apartment was at the top of the house and the mountain views from our windows were stunning. In contrast to the communal areas, our apartment was unexpectedly modern, but very comfortable and well equipped - a missing toaster was quickly supplied on request. The property is in the quiet and pretty village of Rindbach, but shops and other facilities in Ebensee are close by, and road connections to the other lakes and nearby towns are excellent.

To access bedroom, you have to cross the bathroom. A bit annoying. The bed room is a bit small with very soft bed.

Little piece of paradise. The villa and its gardens are out of this world beautiful and preciously maintained by the owners. It really takes you out of your everyday life and brings you in the vacation mood. The apartment has all you need and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. Maria the owner is always available for anything you may need - thank you, Maria! The location is beautiful, perfect for an active sporty holiday or discovering the region. We hope to be back :)

The internet can be a bit slow for if you have to work, as my husband unfortunately did, and need to take online meetings. But that shouldn’t be an issue if you come here for pure holidays and relax ;)

The house is big and in a very neat condition. The room we had was modern, extra clean, and the kitchen well equipped. Very convenient parking. The garden is just superb.

We were not there for that, but the TV seemed to be only equipped with Netflix, the other channels were sales programs. Not really a problem since the purpose of the trip was to go hiking. Yet I like the news in the morning.

The villa is absolutely beautiful and the views are even more fantastic. The surrounding mountains are just magnificent. There's a beautiful garden with access to the lake (some of the grounds are private). The apartment itself is very spacious and well equipped. It's immaculately clean and everything is perfectly arranged. There's a balcony with a view of the garden and the mountains. The kitchen has all the appliances one might need, including a full-size fridge and dishwasher.

To access the bedroom you need to pass through the bathroom. This wasn't convenient since if someone is using the bathroom, you're stuck either in the living room or in the bedroom. Besides there was no ventilation in the bathroom apart from the window, and there was no proper insulation between the bathroom and the bedroom. That's why we had several silverfish in the bedroom. Our stay included the night of April 30th, and on that day there was a big celebration with a parade and a disco till 3:30 am, and it happened to be right in the villa's parking space, so it was very noisy. During the parade the street was closed so you couldn't drive to the villa. The hostess was very nice and friendly, but she spoke very little English, because of that the communication was very difficult.

In fact its 12/10. It was like in fairly tale. Location is just amazing. The garden is astounding with direct access to the lake. Apartment had everything we needed and was super cosy and clean with the greatest view we ever had in a rented apartment. We were traveling with one year old baby and everything was great. Maria, the host, was super nice and helpful.

Nothing. It was perfect. The pictures on booking do not show how amazing the place is. We will definately come back.
