Location

Uneven floorboards at bottom of top flight of stairs from living room area, hole under carpet , tripped and fell. Bathroom not clean around toilet and shower smells.

"Beautiful apartment"

Rothbury is beautiful, and the village has a number of great places to eat that are really close. The flat is set back from the main road so it's even quieter. Super easy to use thermostat, so the flat was toasty (upstairs more than downstairs, but easily solved by keeping the second bedroom door shut); lots of hot water. Great shower!

When the main gripe is no egg cups, you know you've made a great booking!

"Great week-end in a lovely cosy/comfy house with beautiful scenery close-by."

The location was perfect. Ideal for all restaurants, shops etc. Lots of opportunities to explore the walks in the area.

We couldn't find anything to fault except that maybe a stair rail for less mobile customers

"Comfortable stay for 2, rather than 4"

Location was great, styling of the flat was very nice. The property was clean and restful.

The second bedroom was very poor, no bed side tables or lamps, the headboard obscured the window. For the price, this should have been a lot better and maybe should be converted into a childrens room or single room in future. There were no handrails down the steep staircases. Hooks in the bathroom would also have been helpful.
