City Chalets Salzburg

We liked it here because it was very clean and they were careful at all the details. It is at 8 minutes if you walk from Europark and the area is very quiet. It was a really nice place. We recommend it if you want to have a perfect holiday in Salzburg!

It was spacious, had chair for our baby, baby bed, there was coffee. Bed was good. Kitchen had enough appliances. Location was good, city center was easily reached by bus, wouldn't walk though.

There was quite an echo in there as the room is high and not much anything on the walls or curtains, with a toddler it was even more noticeable. A dishtowel for kitchen would have been nice. We didn't get towels for our child, even when we had to pay citytax for her, so she is a person for taxes but not enough to get towels.

The owner was quick to respond and we felt safe on the property.

There was a delay in receiving our code to get into the property. More clarification would be useful to explain how to open the door and where to park. Also, parking in front of the apartment was confusing and the tenant with the Mercedes could scoot back, since we were forced to park in a confined space. In the future, it would help to have the provided parking diagram at an earlier date (via email).

Quiet location

I wish there is wash machine, we stay for 4 nights and expecting there is one to wash our clothes

Place was modern and clean. Nice big TVs and proper kitchen including salt and pepper which was a nice touch.

It was largely a good stay but little details need to be taken care of, which I’m sure the owner will fix for the next guest. There was no washing machine which would’ve been more useful than a dishwasher in our view. The single thing that rattled us was that someone (we later figured out was the cleaner) barged in without knocking or notifying us at 7:30am on our check out day - waking us up and leaving us with a sense of doubt about the security of the place, if other people could enter unannounced at any moment. The safe in the apartment was also not working when we arrived so we were unable to lock our valuables during the stay. I understand that this is not the norm so it was just a bit of a scare, but we were still a bit shaken by the incident. I think that the entry codes to the apartment should be changed for every guest and NOT given to the cleaner before the guest departs.
