Incredible special character apartment with three large bedrooms, amazing location, short walk to Stiegl brewery with great dining and museum, secure parking at Villa, short drive to Red Bull hangar, and all of Salzburg. Hubert is a wonderful host preserving a very special property

Beautiful property. Great location ( Very close to bus number 27). Mr Hubert was very nice and kind enough to greet us , as well as bid us farewell despite the loss in his family. We wish him all the best for his future endeavours and will highly recommend this property to everyone.

Villa Maxglan is an exceptional property. It is located in a safe and quiet residential area of Salzburg on the other side of the stone mountain that divides the city, with the residential area on one side and the old city on the other. It is only a 5 minute drive from the parking structure under the stone mountain where you can park your car and walk into the old city and then explore by foot. Parking at the villa is safe, private and secure -- you can park in a large courtyard to the side of the house that is hidden behind the back wall of the front car port -- drive up, push a button and the back wall opens up to let you in. The courtyard has parking for 5+ vehicles and is securely off the street. The villa is attached to a larger house with other residents but we didn't see or hear them during our stay. It was very quiet. The villa is spotlessly clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated with beautiful original pieces of art. Downstairs features an up-to-date and well appointed kitchen with eating bar, a dining area and a large sitting room with two comfortable couches. There are also French doors opening onto a small terrace with an outdoor dining area and small garden with sculptures. It is a beautiful sight and very relaxing. Also downstairs is the WC and separate bathroom with combined tub/shower. The bathroom is good sized and updated. Upstairs are three good sized bedrooms with queen sized beds and armoires, with good ventilation from the windows. Everything was clean, quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We also met the hosts who were very nice, gracious and responsive to questions and requests. This is a highly recommended, exceptional property.

The only particularity that I would point out (and it's not a dislike), is that only two of the upstairs bedrooms have access to the hall and stairs. To access the third bedroom, you have to go through one of the other two. Not a big deal, but something to point out -- and it's perfect if you want to monitor children.

Beautiful home with a nice green courtyard and garden. Very tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Host was extremely friendly.

We came as a family. The house is very nice with a lot of space, the kitchen well equipt. The owner is very nice and helpful.

Loved the house decor and facilities. The outdoor seating is very cute. The host also left us a christmas cake. Lovely place!

SHOWER HEAD DIRECTED THE WATER ALL OVER THE BATHROOM

This was the perfect place for our the 5 of us traveling together. Everything was immaculate and so comfortable. I wish we had stayed longer. We met the hosts when departing. They were lovely and helpful throughout our arrival and departure!
