Beautiful area! As so close to the beach!

Nothing it was all amazing!!

Perfect location to walk everywhere you needed to go in San remo. Opposite the water, 5 minutes walk down the street. Lovely hosts. Easy communication. Very family friendly.

The Black Dolphin Waterfront apartment is located very conveniently, across the road from the scenic front beach and a short walk to local shops and eateries. A slightly longer walk leads you to the marina, the Fishermen's Co-op that serves excellent fish and chips and other seafood, the marina and the spot where the pelican feeding occurs daily at midday. Not to exclude the fact that the apartment is a short drive to the bridge that leads to Phillip Island and its many attractions. The apartment is amazing: it has a large open plan space with modern kitchen, dining alcove and comfortable, generous couches. The apartment is very well- appointed and tastefully decorated. No detail is forgotten. Windows look onto a beautiful secluded cobbled patio edged by pots brimming with colourful plants. There is an outdoor setting, BBQ and two comfy outdoor chairs strategically located undercover from the elements. My husband and I are older people and we stayed at the Black Dolphin for 8 days in March 2025. We and our 11 year-old Lhasa Apso cross dog had a wonderful stay. The apartment was light-filled impeccable, the beds were comfortable and we had the luxury of one modern ensuite bathroom each. Our hosts, Nigel and Lydia were friendly and attentive. We are from Melbourne and have stayed in holiday rentals that permit dogs,for approximately the last 30 years and we agreed that the Black Dolphin has been the best allround accommodation that we have ever stayed in. We have booked for this October for at least another 8 days.

The front toilet cistern squealed whenever one flushed and this was disconcerting at first. Nigel is aware of it and said he would fix it. The washing machine got stuck at a particular point in the cycle. We managed to wash two loads, with a little bit of an adjustment, but decided to wash no more clothes as the process was not conducive. In all fairness, Lydia and Nigel had called a repairman three weeks before our stay, and one came out finally while we were there. Lydia and Nigel are going to replace the front loader with a top loader.

Great location. Lots of room. Had everything you need including a washer and dryer. Had free streaming tv channels. Nice and quiet
