Main Street Apartment

Really excellent location. Right next to the old town/market but still very quiet at night. Very comfy and quiet, we felt very comfortable.

The host gave me during my stay a lot of information about several festivals and shows in Sarajevo. The contact to the host was great, it was no problem for him, that I came there in the morning at 6 a.m. When i left the house, I was at once in a vibrant environment near teh famous Bascarsija in Sarajevo. A lot of stores, cafe´s and restaurants were there. Not to forget teh wonderful architecture of teh old town. I can only recommend the accomodation and would always return there.

mr kenan is an amazing host, he helped us about everything, he offered us places to see and events to attend. the apart is amazing, central and very good quality place. thank you mr kenan, it was great stay.

The location for this apartment could not be more central. You step out of the building and right onto the main tourist street. The building is publicly accessible from the street and the building door stays open, so that is the downside of the amazing location. Overall, it was great. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very useful.

This flat is located in very heart of Sarajevo. Cosy apartment with everything you need for your stay. Very friendly host. He gave us advices about great events during stay.

No air-conditioning is a bit downside but I guess is complicated to install this overe there. Place is located on 4th floor with no lift but this is nothing that can be done about that.

The host - Dr. Kenan - is incredibly hospitable and ready to help. He replies fast despite being so busy being a doctor. He even arranged a last-minute tour guide for us going to Mostar which we really appreciate since most tour companies are fully booked. The apartment is exactly at the centre of everything!

We visited on a summer season and its quite uncomfortable not having an aircon in the unit during sleeping time. But this didnt bother us anyway since we are out for tours during the day.

The position is perfect exactly in the city centre. The host is very kind and gave us a lot of information about what was going on in the city . He answered as soon as we asked something. He really wanted us to enjoy and live the towns as much as possible.

The location of the appartment is perfect The internet was good The host was very communicative and informative. He used to send us some recommended events that we could attend. Good washing machine.

We were too many (5 persons) for this small appartment. However, it went well. The fridge wasn't working well; however, the host changed it the day after we arrived. There was unfortunately no AC and the appartment was very hot inside. There was fans, however, they were not doing a great job. The water pressure is terrible. It wasn't pleasant to take a shower as the water pressure was very weak. There was no parking. We had to park in the hotel europa nearby; however, it was full the second day. Hence we had to find another parking. All in all, we loved the location of the appartment. However, we think that it needs a bit of maintenance.

Shortly after making our reservation, the host, Mr. Kenan Karavdic, contacted us. He kindly answered our questions. Despite his busy schedule as a pediatric surgeon, he personally greeted us when we arrived at the place where we would be staying. He showed us the parking spot and helped us carry our luggage in the rain. Therefore, we were very satisfied with our host. The location of the house was fantastic, just two minutes to the Baščaršija and within walking distance to the new city center. It is a quite adequate house for a young couple and/or a family with one child. The stairs could be very challenging for the elderly or those with orthopedic disabilities. We thank Mr. Karavdic once again.

I expected the house to be a bit better in terms of cleanliness. Unfortunately, the bathroom mat and the toilet were not clean (smelling bad). The refrigerator was not cooling sufficiently (probably because the freezer section was excessively frosted), so there was water leakage. It was not an issue for us as we did not use the kitchen, but it would have been nice to at least keep the drinks cold. I believe Mr. Karavdic will solve these issues in a short period of time.
