The Riverside Apartment - Downtown

This was the second time I've stayed at Riverside Apartment and it's an exceptional place to stay while in Sarajevo. It's spacious, the east wall has window after window so there's lots of natural light and you can see the forested mountains on the south side of the river. You can also see the River Miljacka of course! Sejo and Nermina do an amazing job with their rental property. Because I've stayed here before and he was available, Sejo offered to pick me up at the airport free of charge even though my flight got in at 11:00pm (2300). That's just an indication of the excellent character of Sejo & Nermina, and the care they take for their guests [though I'm not at all saying that Sejo can do this for everyone of course :)]. The apartment is literally a two minute walk to where you start to get into the restaurants and coffeeshops that everyone goes to; and about 5 minutes to the Ferhadija pedestrian mall that is so popular with the people of Sarajevo. Btw, when you go out in Sarajevo, there's not really any tourist part of town because everyone from this small city and the surrounding villages also goes to the Ferhadija and streets around it; they go to the same coffeeshops and restaurants you will go to. I like that about Sarajevo. The apartment is also very quiet, in an older building (though the apt is up-to-date of course) with thick walls, and the street is quiet - so resting and sleeping is no problem. The apt has wood floors all through it. It also has a great tv and many channels in case you are like me and you like to keep up with your favorite sports even while you're on vacation. I will definitely be staying here again, for a third tremendous visit, the next time I'm in Sarajevo if it's available. I know Sejo & Nermina would be thrilled to have me back.

Beautiful, well maintained, well equipped and clean apartment in the heart of the old city. Highly recommended for business trips.

Only thing missing was option to have an available parking space at the property. But parking garage is a 5 minute walk away ao it is not too much trouble.

Sead is a fantastic host. Every time was doing his best to help guests. I love the location it is very downtown, and everything is super-close to the apartment. In the kitchen, coffee, tea, and even freshwater bottles will wait for you plus everything one kitchen should contain.

Spacious apartment with all the things you need for a comfortable stay :) We especially appreciated that there was coffee/tea and a lot of space to relax after sightseeing.

Nicely appointed and furnished. Clean and well organized.

3rd floor is a little inconvenient with luggage w/out elevator.
